Manufacturing
A 27,934 m² production base in Pizhou, Jiangsu — transformers, switchgear and box-type substations from one manufacturer.
A modern plant for transformers and switchgear
Our manufacturing base, Jiangsu Xinhong Electrical Equipment Co., Ltd., was founded on 18 October 2018 in the hardware-machinery industrial park of Nianzhuang Town, Pizhou, Jiangsu Province. The site covers 27,934 m² with 15,246 m² of buildings, employs more than 100 people and produces power transformers, high- and low-voltage switchgear assemblies, box-type substations and prefabricated cabin substations.
The plant has invested continuously in process equipment: coil winding lines, a vacuum epoxy-casting line for dry-type transformers, vacuum drying ovens, CNC sheet-metal machining for tanks and cabinets, and a shielded high-voltage partial-discharge test room. Annual turnover is about RMB 230 million.
Management systems are certified to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001; the XL, GGD, GGJ and XMCS-K low-voltage switchgear assemblies carry CCC certification and the company holds a national high-tech enterprise certificate.

Precision equipment
Key process equipment at our manufacturing base.
Foil and wire winding machines
Horizontal winding machines for LV foil windings and HV wire windings — uniform, compact coils with low stray losses.
Vacuum epoxy-casting line
Cast-resin dry-type coils (SCB10 – SCB18) are cast under vacuum in epoxy resin for void-free insulation.
Vacuum drying ovens
Active parts are dried under vacuum before oil filling; oil is degassed and filtered on site.
Core cutting and step-lap stacking
Grain-oriented and amorphous-alloy cores with step-lap joints for low no-load loss and noise.
HV partial-discharge shielded test room
Applied and induced voltage tests and loss measurements on every unit, plus partial-discharge measurement on dry-type and 35 kV units, in a shielded comprehensive test centre.
CNC sheet-metal shop
Turret punch presses and press brakes for corrugated tanks, switchgear frames and substation enclosures.
Automated test benches
Computer-controlled test benches record every routine test result for traceability.
Switchgear assembly and commissioning bays
Wiring, protection-relay configuration and functional tests of KYN, GCS, GGD and MNS assemblies before dispatch.
Production process
From raw material to shipped transformer.
-
01
Core and coil winding
Grain-oriented silicon steel is cut and step-lap stacked; copper foil and wire windings are produced on CNC winding machines with exact turn and tension control.
-
02
Insulation and vacuum drying
Windings are insulated, pre-dried and vacuum-dried so the moisture content of the active part stays far below the limit required by the standard.
-
03
Epoxy casting / tanking
Dry-type coils are vacuum-cast in epoxy resin; oil-immersed active parts are fitted into corrugated tanks and vacuum-filled with degassed transformer oil.
-
04
Final assembly
Bushings, tap changer, protection devices and accessories are installed; every unit is checked against the drawing and the customer's specification.
-
05
Testing and dispatch
Routine tests in the high-voltage partial-discharge shielded test room, then export packing and dispatch to Central Asia with the test report.
Factory video tour
Short clips filmed on the shop floor — winding, assembly, drying, testing.
Testing and quality control
Every transformer passes routine tests before shipment; type tests are performed by accredited national laboratories.
Routine tests (every unit)
- Measurement of winding resistance
- Voltage ratio and vector-group check
- Short-circuit impedance and load loss
- No-load loss and no-load current
- Separate-source (applied) AC withstand voltage test
- Induced AC withstand voltage test
- Partial-discharge measurement (dry-type and 35 kV units)
- Tank tightness / pressure test and oil tests (oil-immersed)
- Functional test of tap changer, protection and accessories
Type and special tests
- Temperature-rise test
- Lightning impulse test
- Short-circuit withstand test
- Sound-level measurement
- Energy-efficiency verification to GB 20052
- Zero-sequence impedance and harmonic measurements (dry-type units)
- Type tests of switchgear and box substations (temperature rise, dielectric, short-time withstand, IP/IK)
Tests follow GB/T 1094 (IEC 60076), GB/T 10228 (dry-type), GB 20052 (energy efficiency), GB/T 3906 / IEC 62271-200 (HV switchgear), GB/T 7251 / IEC 61439 (LV assemblies) and GB/T 17467 / IEC 62271-202 (prefabricated substations). Test reports are issued in Chinese; English and Russian translations are provided on request.
