YB European-type prefabricated substation

Overview

The YB series high-voltage/low-voltage prefabricated substation is a factory-assembled, type-tested complete unit that combines the transformer, high-voltage switchgear and low-voltage distribution equipment in a single enclosure for medium-voltage distribution networks.

Urban and rural medium-voltage networks consist of a medium-voltage distribution network and a low-voltage distribution network. The medium-voltage distribution network comprises source-end substations, terminal substations, distribution (switching) stations, distribution lines and pole-mounted or ground-mounted switchgear, and involves transformers, switchgear, measuring equipment, voltage- and current-limiting equipment and distribution lines.

Features

• All equipment is supplied by the manufacturer as a complete set, so the user has nothing further to procure. Design, manufacture, final assembly and secondary wiring are completed in the factory, and the unit undergoes type testing and factory routine tests before being transported to site safely as a whole. The result is a highly integrated unit of small size that saves land, allows flexible siting, is quick and simple to install, reaches energisation in a short time, has a neat and attractive appearance, adapts well to its environment and blends in with its surroundings.
