Overview

The S13 is a distribution transformer developed by Jiangsu Xinhong on the basis of the earlier S11 series. Through the application of new materials and new processes, the core and winding structure has been optimised and redesigned to reduce no-load loss and noise.

The noise level is on average 20% below the limits of the industry standard JB/T 10088-2016.

Vector group Yyn0 or Dyn11, HV 10 / 6.3 / 6 kV, tapping range ±5% or ±2×2.5% and LV 0.4 kV apply to all 19 ratings. Short-circuit impedance: 4% for 30–500 kVA, 4.5% for 630–1600 kVA, 5% for 2000–2500 kVA. From 630 kVA upward a single load-loss value applies to both the Dy and Yy connections.
