ZGS-PV PV / wind step-up box-type substation

Overview

The box-type substation for renewable power generation is a high-voltage / low-voltage prefabricated substation (hereinafter "the substation") in which the high-voltage switchgear, the transformer active part and the protective fuses are housed together in the oil tank, combined in one unit with the low-voltage switchboard and the corresponding auxiliary equipment.

It is dedicated step-up equipment: the output voltage of the grid-connected inverter (or AC generator) is raised by the step-up transformer to 10 kV or 35 kV and exported to the grid over a 10 kV or 35 kV line. This makes it a well-matched companion unit for PV and wind power generation systems.

Features

• Compact design with a small footprint; the radiators are mounted externally for more effective cooling.
• Built on new transformer series technology, with a well-arranged structure that is safe and reliable in service.
• Transformer oil serves as the insulating medium for the high-voltage components on the 10 kV or 35 kV side, greatly reducing the required safety clearances.
• The tank is fully sealed, isolating the oil completely from the atmosphere; this greatly slows oxidation and keeps out moisture and air, improving the stability, reliability and safety of the equipment. Panel radiators are used, which are easy to remove and simple to maintain.
• The enclosure is treated with a special shot-blasting process, giving good resistance to corrosion and intense sunlight and effective protection against wind-blown sand.
• The low-voltage side uses Chinese-made intelligent circuit breakers and moulded-case circuit breakers, offering high breaking capacity and good protection performance.
• The transformer tank can be fitted with a pressure gauge and thermometer with communication interface, and the load-break switch with a position (travel) switch, enabling remote monitoring, operation and maintenance of the transformer.
• Fully sealed enclosure design: the HV and LV compartments achieve IP54 and the transformer body IP68.
