MNS Low-voltage modular withdrawable switchgear

Overview

The MNS low-voltage switchgear assembly (hereinafter 'the assembly') was designed and developed on the basis of imported switchgear. It is suitable for AC 50 (60) Hz systems with a rated operating voltage of 660 V and below, and is used for power generation, transmission and distribution, electrical energy conversion and the control of power-consuming equipment. It complies with the national standard GB/T 7251.1 'Low-voltage switchgear and controlgear assemblies – Part 1: General rules', the industry standard JB/T 9661 'Low-voltage draw-out switchgear assemblies' and the international standard IEC 61439-1.

The assembly can be configured with cabinet frames and drawer units of different schemes, and uses high-strength flame-retardant engineering plastic components that effectively enhance protection and safety. The drawer units are compact, highly functional and highly interchangeable, easy to replace and maintain, and provide reliable contact.

Features

• The basic cabinet frame is an assembled structure of C-section profiles; all structural parts of the frame are galvanised or made from aluminium-zinc coated sheet. The basic frame is joined with self-tapping locking screws and grade 8.8 hexagon screws, and the doors, cover plates, partitions, mounting brackets, busbars, functional units and other components are then added according to the required scheme to form a complete assembly. The dimensions of the components and compartments are modular (module E = 25 mm). The degree of protection of the cabinet is IP3X to IP4X.

Drawer units

The rated current of a unit circuit is 400 A or below. The 8E/4 and 8E/2 drawers are constructed from flame-retardant plastic and aluminium alloy profiles. The five drawer unit sizes can be installed in a single cabinet either as one size only or in mixed combination. The total height of the functional-unit compartment is 72E (1800 mm).
